The vast majority of our seas are still unexplored. The oceans provide a home for more than 80% of all life on planet earth. Whales help fertilize phytoplankton, which in turn create oxygen. The oceans absorb 4x as much CO2, through phytoplankton, compared to the amount of the Amazon rainforest. Already today there are more than 150 million tons of plastics, fishing gear, nets, equipment and other rubbish floating around, in our seas. The equivalent of a garbage truck load of plastic is thrown into the ocean every minute. Every year over 300,000 whales, dolphins and porpoises are killed as bycatch alone. Industrial fishing takes over 2.7 trillion fish from the oceans worldwide each year. If this rate of fishing continues, the seas will be “practically empty” by 2048. Humanity, in their failing and doomed global capitalist system, optimizes itself to death including the planet earth with its flora and fauna.

Wale helfen Phytoplankton zu befruchten, welches wiederum Sauerstoff kreiert. Die Ozeane absorbieren 4x so viel CO2, durch Phytoplankton, im Vergleich zur Menge des Amazonas-Regenwaldes. Bereits heute schwimmen mehr als 150 Millionen Tonnen an Kunststoffen, Fischereigeräte, Netze, Ausrüstung und weiterer Müll, in unseren Meeren. Das Äquivalent einer Müllwagenladung Plastik wird jede Minute ins Meer geworfen. Jedes Jahr werden über 300.000 Wale, Delfine und Schweinswale allein durch den Beifang getötet. Das industrielle Fischen nimmt jedes Jahr weltweit über 2,7 Billionen Fische aus den Ozeanen. Wenn diese Fangrate anhält, werden die Meere bis 2048 “praktisch leer” sein. Die Menschheit optimiert sich, in ihrem zum Scheitern verurteilten globalen kapitalistischen System, zu Tode und den Planeten Erde inklusive seiner Flora und Fauna gleich mit.
